Where do I start? More than anything, I'm a writer. My favorite subjects are humor, action/adventure, sports (most notably NFL and NASCAR) and topics of safety and the environment. but that's only a brief smattering of where this site might go. I'm the author of From the Armchair..., a Fantasy Football-based weekly newsletter, and  The Fast Track, a sometimes irreverent view of the Nextel Cup auto racing series.

My official job is a Jet Engine Mechanic at Pratt & Whitney, a division of United Technologies Corp.  I'm a Health & Safety Representative for IAM Local #1746, working in joint labor-management relations to promote workplace safety in an industrial environment. I've written dozens of safety and environmental articles published in our local lodge's monthly newsletter, Insight, as well as P&W's quarterly safety newsletter, EHS Matters. The audiences of both newsletters are generally company private (translated: unpaid) with a distribution of several thousand employees.

My biggest endeavor as a writer has been the writing of The Bad Boys Club, a young-adult action-adventure novel approximately 120,000 words in length. I'm a little over halfway done with what I hope is a final edit (not to be confused with the final, final edit) with hopes of submitting it somewhere by the end of 2006 or early 2007. Future plans include work on two comedy screenplays, both of which are still in conceptual stages.

I'm currently an English graduate student at Trinity College, enrolled in a Writing, Rhetoric, and Media Arts curriculum that has ultimately led me to you. I currently hold a MS in Management from Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute in Hartford, CT., a BS in Environmental, Health, and Safety Studies from Charter Oak State College in New Britain, CT, and an AS in Chemical Engineering Technology from Capital Community College in Hartford. I also hold a certificate in Occupational Safety and Health from the University of Connecticut.

Let's see, what else...I'm also an amateur photographer and am studying the field of camera repair, both analog and digital. I can hold my breath under water for up to 47 seconds, and I can guess the number of garbonzo beans contained in a large pickle jar more accurately than 99.8% of the world's population. My favorite hobby is eating pizza, my favorite color is yellow, my zodiac sign is Gemini, I'm a pretty good shot in pool, and when I play Monopoly I usually pick the wheelbarrow. But hey, enough about me, tell me something about yourself!
