    Lights of Hope

Cheshire%20Lights%20of%20Hope.jpgThe Cheshire Lights of Hope project is going to be featured on NBC's Today Show--today--between 7 a.m. and 9 a.m.  This was a rather spontaneous project to show support for the Multiple Sclerosis Society and in rememberance of the Petit family that suffered such a horrific tragedy at the hands of two monsters last August. There was also a pretty good article in the Hartford Courant about this event that has captured the attention of the national media. I can't imagine Dr. Petit wanting such nationwide attention for the brutal slaying of his family, but he continues to be gracious, dignified, courageous, and sincere in light of what the Courant called
"the most heinous crime in the history of the state". It certainly was all of that. Now that we've advanced to the new year, what I want to know is, "When are the scumbags who did this going to trial?" Not soon enough, it seems.
